Strong Law and Compliance is an integrated professional-services firm for international companies, entrepreneurs and individuals establishing themselves, operating and growing in Spain.
We bring together company formation, legal advice, tax, accounting, payroll, employment, immigration and regulatory compliance. This integrated approach means our clients do not have to coordinate multiple disconnected providers, or explain their business again every time a new issue arises.

From a home office to a second generation
When Pura Strong returned to Spain in 2000, she came home because her mother was here. Finding work that matched her experience while raising two babies proved almost impossible, so she started a law firm from home: a Compaq Presario PC, a modem plugged into the telephone line and the internet, then the most modern technology available.
Pura understood international business and Spanish law deeply, but she had seen how traditional practices often worked: slowly, with too much paper and too much attention on the office rather than on what clients actually needed. Her idea was simple: there had to be a better way to work.
From the beginning, Pura surrounded herself with professionals smarter than herself. That was never a compromise; it was the strategy. She found women who understood the work, cared about doing it right and were willing to build something from nothing. That became the real foundation of Strong Abogados.
Tom Strong joined her early. An engineer with finance-technology experience at Banco Santander and Sony, he saw the same inefficiency she did: professional services were drowning in outdated systems. He pushed for digital records, organised workflows and structured data, creating infrastructure that let the team think instead of merely administering paperwork.
A new generation of the family firm
Teo Strong became CEO in November 2025, bringing a foundation in data science and the same principle his parents built on: hire people smarter than you, trust them completely and get out of their way.
He leads the development of new services and the firm's technology roadmap, coordinating engineering, accounting and compliance teams to create reliable and scalable workflows. His work includes adapting Xero and QuickBooks Online to VeriFactu compliance in Spain, using data to monitor KPIs, improve pricing and strengthen processes with R and Python.
The focus now is on making professional services clearer, faster and more measurable: defined responsibilities, transparent processes, better coordination between departments and practical technology that gives clients greater visibility over their work.
Pura and Tom established the foundation. The next stage is about keeping the team learning, growing and building what comes next, with gratitude to all the people who have worked with us and helped make the firm what it is.

From Strong Abogados to Strong Law and Compliance
For more than two decades, clients have known us through Strong Abogados and our long-established website, strongabogados.com. That name remains an important part of our history and identity.
However, the firm has developed far beyond the traditional definition of a law practice. Today, our work encompasses legal advice, company formation, accounting, taxation, payroll, employment, immigration, corporate administration and regulatory compliance.
Strong Law and Compliance is therefore not a different firm. It is the natural evolution of Strong Abogados and a clearer description of the organisation we have become.
Our name is evolving, but the ownership, experience, values and commitment behind the business remain continuous.
