ABOUT STRONG LAW AND COMPLIANCE
One firm, one team and one trusted partner for operating in Spain.
Strong Law and Compliance is an integrated professional-services firm for international companies, entrepreneurs and individuals establishing themselves, operating and growing in Spain.
We bring together company formation, legal advice, tax, accounting, payroll, employment, immigration and regulatory compliance. This integrated approach means our clients do not have to coordinate multiple disconnected providers, or explain their business again every time a new issue arises.
From establishing a Spanish company or branch to managing its continuing tax, accounting and employment obligations, we provide the practical support international clients need to operate in Spain with confidence.
Our story began in 2003, when Pura Strong and Tom Strong founded the family firm that many clients came to know as Strong Abogados.
Pura brought extensive experience in Spanish law, taxation, banking, anti-fraud and anti-money-laundering compliance. Now living in Miami, she remains part of the firm's family story and international outlook. Her approach was practical and direct: understand how the client's business really works, identify risks early and provide advice that can actually be implemented.
Tom brought a different but complementary perspective. He recognised unusually early that professional knowledge alone was not enough: the systems used to deliver it also mattered. Long before digital transformation became fashionable among law firms, he promoted digital records, organised workflows and technology-enabled client service.
Their combined influence shaped the firm's character: professional rigour, international thinking, personal responsibility and a willingness to question inefficient ways of working.
Strong Law and Compliance has grown by responding to what international clients actually need when establishing and operating in Spain.

For more than two decades, clients have known us through Strong Abogados and our long-established website, strongabogados.com. That name remains an important part of our history and identity.
However, the firm has developed far beyond the traditional definition of a law practice. Today, our work encompasses legal advice, company formation, accounting, taxation, payroll, employment, immigration, corporate administration and regulatory compliance.
Strong Law and Compliance is therefore not a different firm. It is the natural evolution of Strong Abogados and a clearer description of the organisation we have become.
Our name is evolving, but the ownership, experience, values and commitment behind the business remain continuous.
Entering Spain rarely involves just one legal procedure. A company may need incorporation, tax registration, accounting, payroll, employment support, digital certificates, immigration assistance and continuing communication with Spanish authorities.
These obligations affect one another. When they are divided among unrelated providers, information is duplicated, responsibilities become unclear and important details can fall between departments.
Strong Law and Compliance brings these disciplines together. Our team includes corporate and tax lawyers, accountants, payroll and employment specialists, immigration professionals, property lawyers, an architect and technology specialists.
Our clients include foreign founders, international groups, non-resident directors and overseas companies establishing subsidiaries, branches, employees or investments in Spain.
International clients need more than isolated answers. They need a coordinated process, clear responsibility and practical guidance that connects legal, tax, accounting, payroll and administrative consequences.
We first understand who is involved, what the Spanish activity will be and what the client is trying to achieve before recommending a route.
A corporate decision can affect tax, accounting, payroll, immigration and compliance. Our departments coordinate so one answer does not create another problem.
Every matter should have a responsible professional, a deadline and a next action. Clients should know who is handling their work.
We explain what is required, why it matters and what has to happen next, without making clients decode unnecessary technical language.
Deadlines, response times, workloads and recurring issues are tracked so service can be controlled, improved and made more predictable.
Technology has been part of the firm's identity since its earliest years. Today, that commitment is reflected in Tempo, the Strong Law and Compliance client portal.
Tempo gives clients a central place to access documents, follow ongoing matters and communicate with our team. Behind the portal, structured workflows help our legal, accounting, payroll and compliance departments coordinate responsibilities and deadlines.
We do not use technology simply to appear modern. We use it when it makes professional services faster, clearer, more consistent or easier for the client to control.
Tempo supports the services provided by Strong Law and Compliance. It does not replace the legal, tax, accounting or employment professionals responsible for advising clients and completing their work.

Professional advice should come from identifiable and appropriately qualified professionals, not from a faceless online agency.
Our legal, tax, accounting, payroll and technical work is assigned to specialists with relevant professional experience and qualifications. Members of our team belong, where applicable, to recognised professional bodies, including Spanish Bar Associations and professional associations for accounting and tax advisers.
Clients can see who is responsible for their work, understand the capacity in which that person is acting and contact a real team with established offices and a continuing presence in Spain.
That combination of professional credentials, multidisciplinary coordination and personal accountability is central to how Strong Law and Compliance operates.
Our role is not merely to complete an incorporation or file a form. We help international clients understand their obligations, make informed decisions and build Spanish operations capable of growing safely.
